Authorities in Tasmania are attempting to pinpoint a rosy sludge that has materialized on a isolated coast, with some scientists concerned it could be an algal bloom.
The magenta-hued slime was found on a section of a southern bay about 37 miles south of Hobart. A like substance has also been noted on parts of another local beach and Little Taylors Bay.
